Stolman Law Office

Marc Stolman is an attorney with the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell, “A” for legal ability and “V” for very ethical conduct. He has been practicing law in California since 1983, and is a published author with a book and 14 articles on legal topics. Marc has taught law for the California Bar Association, California Department of Real Estate, Bar Association of San Francisco, Marin County Bar Association and other groups. He has served as Director of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, United Cerebral Palsy Association and Marin Heritage. He is a father of two.

Marc joined E2 to help find solutions to America’s problems of energy usage and pollution. He enjoyed practicing law, but wanted to do something important, that would be good for the world and for America. Marc said, "I never heard of a lawyer on his death bed who wished he had billed more hours."

Marc was impressed with E2’s unique mission and dynamic membership, so he volunteered to work with our biofuels committee and then our AB 32 team. He worked tirelessly, meeting with legislators, community groups and businesses. He and his teammates succeeded in passing both AB 32 and AB 1007. "These laws were good for the economy and the environment. I just rallied businesses to speak out in favor of them. I also had the pleasure of meeting many of the members the California legislature, and explaining the benefits of these laws."

Now, Marc is thankful to E2. "I had the honor of working on these important projects. I want to thank E2 and the staff at NRDC for giving me the opportunity to participate".
